The past 20 years have been life-changing for Konstantinos Synodinos who has navigated the marketing world, expanded his digital knowledge, acquired recognition on popular social media platforms, and put his skills to the test through entrepreneurship. Had he not quit his mundane corporate job and taken the plunge, all this would not have been possible.
Born in Athens and raised in a humble family, Konstantinos had no entrepreneurial gene in his bloodline. Since childhood, sports had been his ultimate passion. From basketball to martial arts, Konstantinos played it all. He did his MBA and began his corporate career only to get fed up with it after ten years.
“I decided to go rogue and turn my idea into a startup, quitting a very well-paid job. Marketing manager of Johnnie walker for western Europe. And that’s how champions id was born. The LinkedIn of sports and marketplace of athletes. That was a crazy idea to bridge my 2 passions sports and entrepreneurship.”
Like all new ventures, Konstantinos startup faced hurdles in the beginning. He defines the period as, “2 years of 0 income and lots of hurdles”. It was only when ChampionsID received the Greek Entrepreneurship award twice an awarded as one of the top 32 startups globally by the US Dpt of the state back in 2016 that he decided to self-fund his startup with a new venture, SimplyDigital.gr.
Today, Konstantinos uses his fame and knowledge of years to help marketers, business owners, and people who aspire to become online entrepreneurs. He uses the power of social media to spread his knowledge of branding and marketing for business success.
I am a brand builder for the last 18 years having worked for P&G Diageo as a marketing manager for almost a decade. I am also a black belt in Kenpo Karate and a world champion twice. So if you don’t stop with the excuses I might kick your ass too!
Konstantinos set the record of acquiring 1.5 million followers on TikTok in 8 months. He believes mindset plays the most significant role in the success of an entrepreneur. He insists, “Exactly like great athletes, great entrepreneurs have this “refuse to lose” mindset, they are obsessed with their craft, their purpose, and want to leave their mark. They are not after money.”
This quality takes a man to the astounding heights of success and Konstantinos is a living example of it. To know more about him or learn the simplified tips and tricks of digital marketing, check out his informative content on Instagram.
