Life is not linear; it is a large empty canvas, which we paint over and over again with our highs and lows. It allows us to discover ourselves and evolve with each passing day. Jacob Moore, investment specialist and director of Triumph Capital, is the perfect example of self-discovery, as he took charge of his own life, and transformed it into something remarkable. However, the journey wasn’t easy as he had to face several challenges in his career, which he overcame nonetheless with great resilience and took as lessons to be learnt.
Ever since Moore was a teenager, he dreamt of transforming his life into something spectacular. He started his career at the age of 16 and became the youngest European salesperson to close 15 consecutive deals, acquiring a five-star status. Making groundbreaking progress from the comfort of Fuerteventura, Canary Islands wasn’t enough. Moore was determined to become an accomplished man, and the only way to do so was to leave his comfort zone and relocate to London.
Upon reaching London, Moore spent his initial time living in shared rooms and at one point, in a warehouse, which was not what he had envisioned when he left for the city. However, he wasn’t ready to give up and didn’t let these circumstances bring his spirit down. At the age of 26, he landed a junior broker job at an established firm in London and fully committed to it, working tirelessly day in and day out, outperforming every other employee.
Within three years, the investment expert was promoted to senior consultant and office manager. But he believed it was time to take it up a notch and build his own investment company, and so he did. He eventually raised millions of pounds for many startup businesses and learned what constitutes a successful business along the way.
Moore’s decision to become an entrepreneur brought a string of lessons for him, such as leaving his comfort zone, always believing in his own potential, and not trusting others all the time. Many of the startups he worked with eventually failed and resulted in losses for the company, adversely affecting client relationships.
As a result, Moore honed an eye to identify a poor opportunity from afar. Integrity, honesty, and trust are at the heart of what he does and stands for, and wishes to interact with people who work with the same fervor and embody his values.
“In my 15 years as an expert in alternatives, I have learned that not everyone can be trusted, not everyone has the same core values embedded in the roots of who they are,”explains Jacob Moore.
Today, Triumph Capital is thriving because Jacob Moore has successfully incorporated his personal values within the business. It is his right thumb rule to only partner with reputable and trustworthy companies.
Instead of beating himself over his failures, the Triumph Capital CEO sees every obstacle as a lesson. All that he has gained and lost has given him several insights into the investment world. Without those experiences, his life may not be what it is today. If you wish to interact with Jacob Moore, you can find him on his socials, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
