He migrated from Morocco to the US, and his father, a restaurant industry veteran, inaugurated an outlet at Epcot Center at the Walt Disney World Resort. After graduating law school, he immediately got on the track to becoming a lawyer. As the son of a serving industry veteran, Choufani came from a service-oriented family. Initially, he negotiated a remarkable extension deal of $137 million for Pascal Siakam. He gained a lot of recognition through this deal which led to another achievement of negotiating an $8.6 million rookie contract for Andrew Nembhard with the Indiana Pacers recently. In monetary terms, it is the highest contract ever signed by a college basketball player from the United States.
Among his duties at LSA as an NBA agent, Choufani contributes strategic insights on physical training, team placement, contract negotiations, branding, and estate planning.
