Beautician provides advice for everything you should know about proper lipstick application, and how to make it particularly long-lasting, to give an integrated look to thicker, integrated lips. It seems that lipstick is the most common makeup, and is available in a wide variety of textures, shades, and colors of course.
From classic lipstick, liquid lipstick with brush, passing through the ointment to the pen, from bright color, to glossy to matte (matte), from flesh-colored (neo) across the pink, purple, brown, and even bright red colors – each one can find the type that fits and praises it, but it is preferable to know how to put it and use it correctly in order to get the best result.
We have brought together some of the leading makeup brand experts with the best tips that everyone who uses lipstick should know.
Preparation- It is preferable before applying lipstick to apply a suitable primer for the lips as well. Primer creates a smoother, more comfortable texture to work and provides a layer of protection for the skin’s soft lips.
Drawing – In order to achieve a full and accurate color on the lips, it is preferable to start with a flesh-colored or lip-color marker through which the line of the lips is drawn from the cupid’s arc (v) to the outside and from the middle to the outside to the bottom. In order for the lipstick to stay in place for a long time, we can also draw with a stylus inside the lip itself and put lipstick on top. The highlighter helps the lips not appear to be sculpted and is especially important when applying lipstick in red.
Basis – If your lip color is not uniform, it is best to apply concealer to it before applying lipstick for a uniform color. When applying the concealer to the lips it is especially preferred to use a stylus pen in order to create new borders for the lips before applying lipstick.
Correction – In order to correct lipstick “slipping” off the lip line and obtain a particularly sharp and delicate appearance, leaks can be “erased” and the lip contours can be drawn again with a concealer and brush.
Long-wearing firm – For a matte finish for a long time, the lipstick should be applied to the lips, gently close the mouth on a paper napkin, spray the lips with powder with a soft brush (above one layer of paper) and apply an additional layer of lipstick.
The general appearance – the makeup should be applied as an integral part of the general makeup appearance, so that if the makeup of the eyes is strong and dark, then the makeup of the lips should be in soft and calm colors and when applying makeup soft and non-strong eyes, the lipstick color must be highlighted.
Tight Lips – Dark lipstick gives the feeling that lips are tight, so tight lips prefer to choose relatively light and matte colors as this suggests more full lips. If you have tight lips and wear dark lipsticks, combine them with a highlighter pen in the same color, so that the borders of the lips can be expanded slightly to create a full look.
Enlarging the lips – to create an exciting look, it is preferable to define the lips with a pen that is darker with a degree of lipstick color, fill the lips with lipstick and put only a light touch of the lip between the middle of the lips. This will reveal the look of two full and big lips.
Moisturizing – Especially in the dry and cold season, it is important to ensure that the lips are well moisturized and apply (Palm) moisturizing cream every night so that the lips are always ready to apply the lipstick of any kind. Avoid applying lipsticks on dry, cracked lips. In this case, it is best to apply moisturizing lipstick in a soft color.
Peeling (Veling) – Before occasions, it is preferable to exfoliate the lips, as the exfoliation will renew the dead skin and give the lips a fresh and bright look. The exfoliation can be done with the help of water and sugar and rub the lips gently with a toothbrush. When finished, apply a moisturizing lipstick.
Wrinkles – It is preferable for old women to stay away from moisturizing lipsticks, as these colors will quickly disappear from the lips and highlight wrinkles on and around the lips.
Lipstick Removal- To remove long-lasting lipstick that is very common in recent years, a special two-layer makeup remover should be used and avoid rubbing the lips firmly.
