Iranian-American neurosurgeon Dr. Parham Yashar, the son of an engineer and an LAUSD educator, attended the University of California, Los Angeles, after graduating from Van Nuys High School’s Medical Magnet program. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA with a major in Cybernetics and a minor in Education studies.
